Certified Professional Co-Active Coach, or CPCC
Two weeks ago I took my last CTI Certification Oral exam. Next early morning I flew to Barcelona for my CTI Leadership Retreat 2 in Sitges. When I landed, the first message that popped up on my mobile screen was the Congratulations email from CTI for successfully passing my exam - I got my CPCC! Although I was super happy about that news, I was also feeling very excited to head to my Leadership retreat and meet my tribe. And I feel I didn’t really have time to slow down (a bit) and give myself permission to celebrate this milestone properly…
Now I feel the urge to share my big news here and to acknowledge several dear to me people who supported me along this chapter of my journey.
And first of all, what does it mean – CPCC?
Yes, it means I have completed 200 training hours and 100+ hours of individual coaching sessions with my clients.
Yes, it is my 3rd official professional education after Master in Management (Taurida National University, Ukraine) and MBA in Strategy & Marketing (Rotterdam School of Management, the Netherlands).
Yes, this CTI Certificate is one of the most recognized and respected document in Coaching business all over the world.
Yes, it opens up numerous career possibilities as now I officially could work as Professional Co-Active Coach with big corporations, business schools, etc,.
And for me personally this Co-Active journey that started two years ago means much more, because it helped me:
To re-discover who I am, my true Self, my core values
To understand what really matters to me, to find my Path
Be courageous and make the decisions by listening to Myself, my heart, even if it is the most difficult and uncomfortable choice to make
Be authentic and to do only the work I truly love, and I am so happy that finally I could do both: travel the world and work from any place (as long as there is wifi)
Be open and welcome everything that life is showing to me
And most important - to transform my own life and lives of other humans into courageous and authentic life adventure to be lived to the fullest.
Because of this journey I was able to re-connect with several people, including close friends, with whom I lost somehow the connection in the past, and those people re-entered my life on much deeper and authentic level.
And, of course, I met so many new beautiful and inspiring people. I want to say special thank for those who were present and supported me at the very beginning of my Co-Active journey and some of them support and hold me till today:
During the Certification program we are trained to be co-active coaches, and thanks God there is a mandatory requirement to have our own CPCC coach. As a participant I was going through so much stuff both on professional and personal level. And I could not thank enough Hetty Brand-Boswijk, CPCC, PCC, CNTC, my professional and warm-hearted CPCC coach, for guiding me in my dreams, my discoveries and holding me authentic all the time. I remember before starting the Certification, I sent email where I shared my dream to bring Co-Active Coaching into MBA program into my business school Rotterdam School of Management, and apparently it is already happening now, and we both share the same Dream. Dear Hetty, thank you for your “gift” in all possible senses, and I am looking forward to share much more with you in person very soon.
Our Pod was lucky to have Susan Carlisle as our Certification Pod Leader. Thank you for bringing so much wisdom, authenticity, so much of your experience to deepen our learning. I believe that our Pod got what we needed and learned from each other during pod calls. Special thank you for our middle program review where Susan challenged me not to procrastinate anymore with my decision to do Leadership program. After registration and several months of being on the waiting list, I have got the spot in Praire Dog Tribe that are lead by Helen House and Sam House. Being on the half way of the Leadership program now, I could not be more grateful of being part of exactly that Tribe with exactly those amazing Co-Leaders.
I want very much to acknowledge Alex Verlek van Tienhoven, Master Certified Coach, CPCC, our group superviser. Thank you for your authenticity and ability to challenge us. I vividly remember your example of “evoking transformation” that I still keep asa reminder although it was in the very beginning of the program. I follow the great work you do with pleasure and very happy that we are in touch.
If you ask me what I value the most from the Certification program, that will be definitely individual supervision sessions. I want to thank Leonid Frolov, CPCC, PCC, for being my first individual supervisor. CTI doesn’t always provide with supervisors who speak your native language. That is why I was so lucky to learn a lot from these sessions, as apparently there are some peculiarities that I am aware of now in coaching in English and in Russian. And I am so grateful that we are keeping the connection through different CTI events and now happy to see you every time in Sitges before or after the Leadership retreats, it is such a great pleasure every time, thank you!
In the 2nd part of Certification program I was happy to meet another great individual supervisor Yossi Eilot MCC, CPCC, MCIL. The structure you gave me to reflect after each coaching session I am using till today, and it helps me to reflect each time and deepen my own knowledge and skills. Thank you for taking time to go through every single sentence in the recorded files, that helped me a lot to see where I could grow.
And also I would like to acknowledge my dear friend and now colleague Nada Mesqui. Two years ago I felt myself lost, was looking for some meaning and my own direction in life, and suddenly the conversation about co-active coaching happened with Nada. It felt like it was that very “IT” I was looking for. Thank you for being my very first coach and opening the world of Co-Active to me, where I am so happy to live and work now.
And as we traditionally say in the closing of a chapter – I AM COMPLETE.
